Teen Green Swap Meet - July 16

The Teen Green Swap Meet will be at Centerville Library on July 16 from 2:00 - 7:00 pm. That's when teens who brought in their gently used items can come back to find out how much their stuff is worth and to then spend their Swap Meet credit. Way to Go Green, teens!!

TTT Gaming - July 14

It's time for some more Totally Teen Tuesday summer fun!! Stop by for video gaming on July 14 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Centerville Library. There's plenty of food and chances to win cool prizes, so we'll see you there! :)

We're Halfway There . . .

Wow!! We're already 4 weeks into Teen Summer Reading Club and have 4 weeks to go. So far 1056 teens have registered and read 4787 titles. That's amazing!! Way to go, teens! Keep reading and remember that each title you read or listen to earns you an entry in the grand prize drawing for an iPod Touch.

Teen Green Swap Meet Drop-off - July 6 to 14

Want to swap your video games, books, and movies with other teens? From July 6 to 14, teens entering grades 6 - 12 can drop off gently used items to the Youth Services desk at Centerville or Woodbourne library to earn Swap Meet credit. Then, come to Centerville library on July 16 from 2 - 7 pm to spend your credit on what other teens have brought in.


Items accepted for Swap Meet credit are: clothes, shoes, electronics, DVDs, CDs, video games, jewelry, bags, accessories, books, school supplies, games, and furniture. Items must be in good condition and be teen friendly (for example, no R-rated movies or M-rated video games).

Babysitting Clinic - July 23

Become a super sitter when you attend the Red Cross Babysitting Clinic. You'll learn diapering skills, feeding tips, and infant/child first aid and CPR. Registration for the Thursday, July 23 clinic takes place July 2 - 18. You must register in person at Centerville or Woodbourne library and pay the cost of $49 at that time.
