Step Up to the Plate
Are you a teen ages 9-18? Do you like baseball? Do you want a chance to win a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame? Then enter the Step Up to the Plate contest, sponsored by the American Library Association and Washington-Centerville Public Library.
All you have to do is read a book about baseball, choose a favorite character, and write a short essay on why the character inspires you. Submit your essay online or by mail. It's that easy!
