Banned Books Week - Sept 26 to Oct 3
What do books from the Harry Potter series, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Little Red Riding Hood have in common? They have all been banned from library shelves in the United States.
Hitting the nation's "Top Ten Most Frequently Challenged Books" list for 2008 were some teen favorites -- the TTTL series by Lauren Myracle, the Gossip Girl series by Cecily von Ziegesar, and The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
